CotM62 - Flying adventure

It was a funny day when Miyu got known to Ren and how both had a blasting sand-mud-ball fight, much tot he distress of their parents. But the Maislings wanted to meet again for further adventures.

So Miyu asked before she and her parents returned to home: „Ren, would you like to visit us next time soon?“ She looked at Takeshi and Kohane and asked furthermore: „But only if it´s okay for you too, or?“ she nervously tild her head, not sure if they´ll let go their young Maisling for a visit outside of the home that soon.

Kohane the white Mais flapped with her tail in a slight worried manner and replied: „Please do not plan to do something dangerous.“
„Naaah my dear…“ Takeshi interruped: „…he´ll be fine. Especially when it´s about meeting the Chibi-kibi family.“
Now his Mais-mate smiled relived and nodded. „That´s right darling, you got a point.“
And lil´Ren hopped in excitement while he squeaked: „Yay more adventures! Tomorrow?“ he asked Miyu and she beamed back: „That´s a good time. I´m looking forward this.“

A night later, Miyu stood up very early and polished over her aviator googles, before she put the entire hat on. With clumsy steps through the still oversized feed she tried to walk downwards from the tree-trunk house as fast as possible. „Muum~ daaad~ how long will it take for Ren´s arrival?“
With a yawn, Tokibi stumbled out from his spleeping place: „Oh my…you´re quite an early bird today aren´t you? But it makes me happy that you´re looking forward to the visitor.“

He gently stroke her head and though: „Even as the oldest one, you´re still quite playful. Too bad that your other brothers are already moded out and Kyo is still too shy for everything…despise that she´s still sleeping now.“ Tokibi looked back at the sleeping nest, where his Mais-mate Saki was curled around Kyo, both having a serene sleep.

„Knock knock…“ was heard from the outside and Miyu jumped towards the wooden door. „Who´s theere~?“ she asked in a cheeky manner. „It´s me Ren, may I enter please?“ the Maisling replied and so the entry was opened. „Good morning Mr. Chibikibi, mornin´ Miyu“ Ren happily grinned and waggled with his tail.
Giving a last short nudge, Tokibi released his Maisling-daughter: „Off you go have fun. But please be careful okay?“ „Yes daddy~.“ Miyu replied and both Maisling walked off.

Being outside, Miyu apologized. „Sorry if I may be a tad slow, but that´s the best I can do on land.“
„But what have you planned for today anyways?“ Ren tiled his head in curiousity.
With a shifty snicker she replied. „I won´t tell you aboutt this for now…but I hope you´ll like this. Come over here, it´s my secret shortcut and please take one of these.“
The aviator-Maisling picked up some strange leathery things being entangled before she jumped into the water.

Ren hesitated abit and looked his companion. „Ummm…is it much far away? I´m not allowed to stray that far, okay?“
„No worries, we´re staying in the swallow waters until this spot.“ Miyu pointed with her wing-shaped fin to a grassy gap.

Both followed this direction and Miyu released a sharp whistle. It didn´t took a long time, before a deep humming war heard as two dragonflies approached the two Maisling. Ren instinctivly backed off as he never has seen this insect from this close distance.
„No need to fear, they´re used to us.“ Miyu tried to sooth the intimitaten Ren. Now the dragonflies landed in front of Miyu as she assempled the strange entangled garment around their shoulder parts. „Now look at me and do the same. Strap this part around your hips. We´re going to have a take off. It will be harmless because they won´t fly too high.“ Miyu chuckled with excitement.“

„You have some quite crazy ideas!“ Ren gasped but he di das told. After the astened the belly-straps, Miyu whistled again before the two dragonflies rose upwards.

They gently overed over the meadow and Ren was utterly speechless as they could marvel the surrounding from above.
„This is a toadstool, do never ever want to eat them….oh this is an apple…quite early to lay around here during this season, but they´re delicious.“ Miyu wanted to explain the newly seen things to Ren.

But he was already distracted by something else: „Ohh look Miyu!!! How pretty they all are.“
Miyu couldn´t surpress a gasp of surprize as several butterflies swarmed around them and danced alongside with the dragonflies.

„Weee~!!!“ Ren shouted in joy and was really happy to have such an interesting trip. So many unseen things got discovered by them and he leraned alot today. But now Ren simply enjoyed the pretty sight for a longer while…
